menage Live and improvised internet installation where fictional characters (played by myself and Amanda Steggell of Motherboard) meet interact with each other creating compositions of image, text sound via internet.
Idoru, based on the novel by William Gibson, depicts the 'futuristic' human condition as no longer a contained entity, but a shared notion of remotely connected bodies in a continual process of repatterning and redesigning. It is an exploration into the possibilities using technology to develop dynamic networking environments which a can take place between two separate locations.

This project developed after two years of intense on-line networking and collaboration with Motherboard.
